This collection began with layers of indigo, cornflower blue and creamy golds. Using cut canna lily blooms from my garden as reference in the studio, the compositions emerged naturally from observation. Layer upon layer, I created glowing areas of light alongside dark and moody tones as a means to capture the twilight magic.

These paintings began with layers of indigo, cornflower blue and creamy golds. Gazing upon my canna lily flowers in full bloom, these compositions emerged naturally from observations at nightfall in my garden. Layer upon layer, I created glowing areas of light alongside dark and moody tones as a means to capture the twilight magic. Read the story behind this collection>>>
