There were groves of Queen Anne's lace that grew behind my grandmother's house. I would walk through the fields, the flowers sometimes taller than me, and pretend I was in a faraway land. The sound of the wind blowing the grasses and the smell of earth and vegetation are a sanctuary I remember.

Painted in acrylic, pastel and charcoal on gallery wrapped canvas. Hanging hardware attached. Certificate of authenticity included.
